LAIRD
GROUP MERGES HOMESAFE AND LINDMAN DOOR BUSINESSES
The
Laird Group PLC has announced the merger of two of its
long-established composite door businesses to form a single sales
and installation organisation that will service the public housing
sector. The name of the new organisation is Homesafe-Lindman.
Commenting on the merger, Homesafe-Lindman managing director Charlie
Peppiatt says customers in the public housing sector will see a real
difference because quotations, orders, deliveries and contract
management for Homesafe thermoplastic doors and Lindman GRP doors is
now handled by a single dedicated team. The new organisation is
based at Homesafe-Lindman’s new Customer Service Centre in Newent,
where a newly-expanded production facility is also being used to
increase production of both door brands to provide a total capacity
in excess of 2000 doors per week.
Says
Charlie Peppiatt: “The extra capacity will enable us to provide even
faster deliveries, so whether customers specify GRP or thermoplastic
doors they can now call one number for supply and installation,
service and support.”
The
number to call is 01531 822585.
Homesafe-Lindman

the only way for a business enterprise to prosper is to be
innovative in product development and supremely flexible in
manufacturing and service.
As our industry becomes more and
more competitive, we see the successful companies partnering with
suppliers to meet and respond to market demand.
To ensure that Homesafe-Lindman can
meet these needs we take our approach to becoming a World Class
Company and continuous improvement seriously.
Homesafe-Lindman
