Firesafe door construction
The unique Homesafe Doors high definition True-Through-Colour fibreglass facing and our durable, rigid, stable construction provide unrivalled performance and integrity.
All our doors are supplied fully assembled and ready to install, even the handles are fitted.
- Glass reinforced polyester (GRP) outer facing, normal 3mm thickness
- Gel-coated with pigmented resin to provide our unique True-Through-Colour finish
- Engineered sub-frame comprising laminated and finger-jointed high-density timber
- Will not bow, warp, twist or rot and is from sustainable sources
- Fire-rated graduated density chipboard (GDC) core infill
- Hardwood fire-rated outer-frame supplied stained or primed ready for painting, or 70mm fire-rated PVC-U outer-frame to BS EN 126082003, steel reinforced
- Intumescent seals and weather seal gasket, brush-pile draught seal fitted to PVC-U frames
- Cill options: 3mm goal-post strip, hardwood sub-cill 12mm and 14mm cill
- Part M compliant aluminium low threshold as standard.
