Classic Construction
At the heart of every door is a high density, CFC and HCFC free closed cell core, to provide excellent thermal performance.
A high quality engineered hardwood subframe is constructed to suit the individual door size required for your property. This material has been chosen for strength and dimensional stability. Strong dovetail joints lock the frames tightly and squarely together.
Classic stable doors feature locking in both halves. The top half can be opened independently of the bottom by releasing a slide bolt fixed to the inside of the door. The lock in the top is key operated on both sides and has a lever handle both sides that operates a latch and security hook. The lock in the bottom operates a deadbolt. With both parts unlocked and slide bolt secured, the door will operate in the same way as an ordinary door. Both top and bottom are opened with the same key.
